Abortion Bill Faces Final Vote Next Wednesday
The Protection of Life during Pregnancy Bill will face its final Dáil vote at 22:00 next Wednesday, 10 July.
Ahead of the vote it is expected a number of TDs will put forward amendments to the proposed Bill, which has been causing disruption in the government.
It is understood that James Reilly and his junior minister Alex White are also working on clarification for some aspects of the Bill.
Responding to question over the Bill, the Taoiseach highlighted that the measure was not about any one person but was aimed at saving the lives of women.

Sinn Féin's leader in the Seanad, Senator David Cullinane has called on Labour Party Senators to have the courage of their convictions and vote against the Social Welfare Bill tomorrow. Senator Cullinane said he believes the Social Welfare Bill can be defeated in the Seanad putting further pressure on the Dáil to vote it down.
