Appeal For Information After Woman Dragged By Car
Garda have appealed for information after a woman was seriously injured when a man snatched her handbag.
The incident happened at around 17:35 on Thursday as the woman sat in her car at the Ballyowen Shopping Centre in Lucan.
It is understood a man approached the woman's car and snatched her bag.
As the woman tried to retrieve her bag she suffer serious injuries when she was dragged along by a car used by the thieves.
An investigation is underway amid conflicting reports of the incident, the make of the car and its license plate.
Garda have asked any one with any information to contact the Garda in Lucan on 01-6667300.

Woman Dies After Being Hit By Car In Dublin
An elderly woman who was hit by a car in Dublin has died in hospital. The incident occurred on the Navan Road at around 8.15am on Sunday, 04 September. The driver of the car was arrested and taken to Finglas Garda Station. He has been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

Two Arrested Over Aidan Myers Murder
Two people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Aidan Myers, gardaí have confirmed. Mr Myers, 37, was killed by a gang who had attempted to hijack the car in which he was a passenger in Faughart, Co. Louth on December 12, 2006. He died after being attacked by a machete.

Gardaí have issued an appeal for information regarding a fatal road traffic collision in Dublin over the weekend. A woman, aged in her 70s, died when the car she was driving crashed on Windgate Road, Howth at about 3.20pm on Sunday afternoon.

Man Dies In Shooting Incident
A 21-year-old man who was shot in Bunratty, Co Clare, died yesterday in hospital. Two men are still being questioned over the attack at the Bunratty Castle Hotel car park, and are being detained at Mayfield and Gurranabraher Garda Stations.

Body Of Missing Woman Frankie Devlin Found
Gardaí have reported that the body of Frankie Devlin was recovered on Wednesday 9 October. Ms Devlin (67) was reported missing on Saturday 5 October and a search operation had been ongoing. The discovery was made on the same day that garda had renewed an appeal for information on the whereabouts of Ms Devlin.
