Body Found At Cork Apartment Still Unidentified
A body discovered at an apartment block in Cork city centre on Monday evening has still not been identified.
A post mortem on the mans body is to be carried out Cork University Hospital, as a forensic examination of the scene at the City Garden apartment complex on North Main Street began at 12:00 on Tuesday.
It is understood that the mans body was found next to a rubbish chute, which runs from the top of the building to the ground floor.
It is not yet known if the mans injuries were sustained in a fall or if he was beaten or assaulted prior to a fall.
