Man Receives Serious Injuries In Co Galway Crash
A man has received head injuries in a serious single vehicle crash in Portumna, Co Galway.
The collision happened at around 6.30am when a van collided with a bridge.
Three men in the van were uninjured, however one man was taken to Portiuncla Hospital, where his injuries are described as serious.
The road has been closed for forensic examination.

Man Dies In Tipperary Collision
A man, aged in his 70s, has died in a collision in Tipperary. He was killed after the car he was driving collided with another car in Borrisokane on Sunday, 05 June, at around 5.15pm. The woman in the other car sustained serious injuries and is currently being treated at Limerick University Hospital.

Investigation Launched Following Suspicious Fire In Co Offaly
Gardai have launched an investigation following a suspicious fire at a house in Rhode, Co. Offaly on Monday. The incident occurred between 11.30pm on Sunday and 1.50am on Monday. A 24-year-old man sustained serious injuries and has been transferred to St James Hospital where his condition is described as critical.
