Shots Fired At Home Of Former Developer Ger Killally

Shots have been fired at the house of former developer Ger Killally in Edenderry, Co Offaly.

The attack occurred at around 10.40am on Thursday morning.

A number of shots were fired as Mr Killally was leaving his home in his car.

He drove a short distance, when he collided with a ditch which caused his car to overturn.

Mr Killally and the three passengers in his vehicle sustained minor injuries as a result of the traffic collision.

Nobody was injured during the shooting attack.

Gardai in Tullamore are appealing to anyone who observed a silver Astra car with the partial reg. 06-D in the Shean area, or anyone with any other information to contact them.

Shots Fired At Apartment In Donaghmede
Gardaí are investigating reports that four shots were fired at an apartment in Donaghmede in north east Dublin this morning. The dwelling at Grattan Lodge is sub-divided into apartments and investigators have closed off the area while the scene is examined. A report of shots fired was called in to Gardaí at around 1.40am.

An investigation has been launched following a shooting incident in County Longford. Gardaí are investigating after a number of shoots were fired at a house in the Lisnanagh area of Edgeworthstown at about 8.30pm on Monday night.

Two Arrested After Shots Fired At Garda
Two men have been arrested after shots were fired at garda officers in Clonmoyle, Rathangan. At approximately 1am on Friday morning, garda attempted to stop a vehicle. Shots were fired at officers and the car sped off. Following a pursuit, garda stopped the car and arrested the two men in the vehicle and recovered a weapon.

Shots Fired At House In Dublin
A number of shots were fired at a house in Dublin early this morning. Gardaí are investigating the attack, which occurred at around 1am at Mourne Road in the city. It is understood one or two men made their getaway in a small white car. A Garda spokesperson said no injuries were incurred.

PSNI Investigating Fatal Collision Near Bready, Co Tyrone
An investigation has been launched following a fatal road traffic collision near Bready, Co Tyrone. At around 1.40pm on Sunday, 07 April, police responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on the Victoria Road. When police arrived it was discovered that a white Seat Leon had left the carriageway close to the junction with Grangefoyle Road.
