100 Jobs Created By Waterford Firm

100 jobs have been created by Waterford based contact centre, Eishtec, and are showing the positions at a job fair in the city this morning.

Formed in May 2011 by former TalkTalk managers, Eishtec created 250 jobs last year at its base in Cleaboy, Waterford, after landing a contract with UK-based telecommunications giant Orange.

“Increased levels of business,” co-founder Heather Reynolds said, “mean we will be increasing our staff by approximately 100 permanent customer contact providers this year and instead of the traditional methods of recruitment we decided that a jobs fair would be an innovative way to expand our talent pool and facilitate this growth.”

Eishtech started with nine staff and the company now employs more than 400 people in Waterford and is recruiting 250 for its Wexford base.
