Body Found In Burnt Out Car

An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a body in a burnt out car in Co Louth on Thursday evening.

The body was found in the vehicle around 19.00 at Gyles Quay, near Lordship, and Garda in Dundalk are appealing for information and potential witnesses.

The scene has been preserved pending an investigation by the office of the State Pathologist.

Gardaí have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man's body in an apartment in Galway City. It is understood that the man's body was found by his flatmate on Monday. According to reports, the dead man is believed to be a 23-year-old from Tullamore in Co Offaly who was studying in Galway City.

Investigation Launched After Body Found In Carlow
The body of a woman has been found in a house in Carlow. Gardaí say that the body of a 37-year-old woman was discovered at a house in the Craigcullen area of Carlow at about 21:45 on Sunday. The body remains at the scene to allow for a forensic examination. The identity of the woman has not yet been released.

Body Found In Burnt Out Car 'Not Suspicious'
The body of a woman has been found in a burnt out car in Co Kildare. Gardaí have said that the body was discovered at around 11:30 today in a vehicle on a car park in Eadestown. However, garda added that they believe the death to have been a "personal tragedy" and are not treating it as suspicious.
