Two Cork Men Jailed Over Two Attacks On Women

Two men have been jailed for a total of 19 years for a sexual assault on one woman and the robbery of another on the same night in Cork city.

Colin O’Sullivan, 20, of Highfield Crescent, Kanturk, and Adam Heneghan, 19, or Upper Dromore, Dromahane, were sentenced to 10 years and 9 years respectively, for the two attacks.

The final year of each sentenced was suspended.

Jailing the men Judge Patrick Moran said he had to try to ensure such behaviour was not repeated.

The judge also ordered that their names be placed on the sex offenders register.
