Man Killed In Co Galway Road Crash
A 51-year-old man was been killed on Thursday evening in a road crash in Co Galway.
A car hit the as-yet-unidentified pedestrian at Kylebrack East, Loughrea, at approximately 9pm.
He was taken to Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Gardaí at Killimor are investigating and have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Killed In Road Crash
A man has died in a road crash in Tuam, Co Galway, last night. Gardai in Tuam are investigating the incident at Woodquay, Wier Road, at around 18.30. The driver, a man in his 60s, was killed when his vehicle hit a wall. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Gardai are appealing for anyone with information on the single-vehicle crash to contact them.

Man Dies In Overnight Road Crash
A man has died when his car collided with a van on the Rathbeale road in Swords, Dublin, around 02.30am on Wednesday morning. The man in his 40s was a passenger in the van. He died at the scene. The driver of the van and a second passenger are being treated in hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
