eBay Create 450 Jobs In Dundalk

US online retail giant eBay will create 450 new jobs at its Dundalk facility, Taoiseach Enda Kenny has announced.

It follows the creation of 1,000 jobs last year by eBay subsidiary PayPal also in Dundal, Co Louth.

The two companies currently employ over 2,300 at their facilities in Dundalk and Blanchardstown in Dublin.

Mr Kenny has said it is a great opportunity for the northeast and Dundalk.

eBay, the ecommerce company, have opened its new official European operations centre in Dundalk. The online retailers new Co Louth facility will provide support for customers of eBay and its payment service subsidiary, PayPal, across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Wasdell Group, a UK-based pharmaceutical packaging, testing and distribution company, has announced the creation of 300 jobs at a new facility to be established in Dundalk. The privately owned British company's capability includes clinical trials packing, primary and secondary packaging and distribution of biopharmaceutical products.

US Firm To Create 200 Jobs In Dundalk
An American marketing and promotional products company are to create up to 200 jobs in Co Louth over the next five years, Taoiseach Enda Kenny has announced. The announcement was made on Friday morning at firms international headquarters in Dundalk and will bring the company's total workforce up to 459 by 2017.
