Woman Dies In Roscommon Road Crash
An elderly woman has died in a road crash in County Roscommon yesterday evening.
The 83-year-old died when the car she was driving collided with a wall at Carrowphadeen at around 5pm.
She was taken to Portiuncula Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Woman, 82, Dies In Road Accident
An 82-year-old woman has died following a road accident in Donegal. The crash occurred at around 3.50pm on Monday (18 August) at The Ross in Bundoran. Gardaí have said a car collided with a fence in the incident. The woman was transferred to Sligo Hospital but later died from her injuries. Anyone with information is asked to contact Gardaí.

Woman Killed In Cork Road Crash
A woman has died in a road collision in Cork on Wednesday morning. The crash happened on the R628, Castlelyons to Conna road at approximately 8:30am. The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body has been removed to the morgue at Cork University Hospital.

Gardaí have appealed to witnesses of a fatal road crash in North County Dublin to contact them. The appeal concerns a road accident in which a 78-year-old woman died when a car she was in collided with a second car on the Coast Road, in Malahide. The woman was taken to Beaumont Hospital, but was pronounced dead a short time after arrival.

Woman Dies Following Road Crash
A woman died in hospital on Monday, following a road crash in Co. Kildare earlier in the day. The 82-year-old was struck by a van in Newbridge around 12:30pm. She was taken to Naas Hospital for treatment, but died there later.
