Tributes Paid To Late Shane McEntee In The Dáil
The Taoiseach has led tributes in the Dáil to the former junior minister Shane McEntee.
Mr McEntee, who has a TD for Meath East died on 21st December last year.
His wife Kathleen was present to hear the emotional tributes.
Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney said: "I hope that we as a house, and those who cover the work that we do, will think about what happened and the circumstances that drove Shane to this tragedy for him and his family, and that we will learn some lessons from him, and his personality, and his decency."

Dáil Plans Debate On Geoghegan Murder
A parliamentary debate on the weekend murder of rugby player Shane Geoghegan in Limerick will be held on Thursday afternoon in the Dáil. Party leaders are expected to deliver statements with the Minister of Justice Dermot Ahern taking questions from Opposition TDs during the 90-minute session.

Tributes to Ahern on last Dáil appearance
Bertie Ahern’s last day in the Dáil has invoked a litany of tributes from his colleagues. The tributes followed immediately after Leader's Questions this morning. Although Mr Ahern doesn't officially relinquish office until 5 May, the Taoiseach does not attend the house on Thursdays, and departs for Washington before it convenes next week.
