Man Pleads Guilty To Murder Of Catherine Gowling

A man has pleaded guilty for the murder of Irish vet Catherine Gowing.

Ms Gowing, originally from Clonlee, was murdered in Wales in October 2012.

Ms Gowing's body has never fully been recovered, however remains were found near her home in New Brighton.

Clive Sharp, 46, pleaded guilty to her murder at Molt Crown Court today.

A man has pleaded guilty to the murder of Sligo man Eugene Gillespie. 29-year-old Simon McGinley, who handed himself in at Sligo Garda station on Friday night, appeared before a special sitting of Carrick-on- Shannon District Court yesterday and was remanded in custody until next Friday.

Man Pleads 'Not Guilty' To Murder Of Chess Mate
A Lithuanian man has pleaded not guilty to a charge of killing his chess partner in 2005. Rimantas Padimanskis, 44, of Lios Cian, Swords, Co Dublin made the plea of not guilty at Dublin Criminal Court to the manslaughter of Darijus Onusaitis on November 15, 2005 by stabbing.
