Man Charged With Manslaughter Following Bus Death
A man has been charged with manslaughter following the death of a man who was struck by a bus in Dublin last Thursday.
Edward Connors, 29, who is profoundly deaf, has been charged with the manslaughter of Eoghan Dudley.
Connors appeared in the city's District Court today where the proceedings were translated via sign language.
His solicitor Cahir O'Higgins applied to the court for free legal aid, and for medical and interpretation services to be provided to him while he is on remand.
The judge granted both of the applications.
Mr Connors was remanded in custody and he is to appear in court on 13th December.

Missing 12-Year-Old Found 'Safe And Sound'
A 12-year-old boy missing for over a week has been found "safe and sound" gardaí have reported. Ned Connors Cash, from Blackrock, Co Dublin, had been missing from his home since 26 July. A garda spokesperson reported on Sunday night that the child had been found, but did not elaborate as to where the boy had been while he was missing.

Two Charged Over Cork Assault
Two men have been arrested in connection with a serious assault on a businessman at a Cork industrial estate on Tuesday. A man returning to his business at Churchfield Industrial Estate at about 16:45 on Tuesday was approached by two men, who demanded money. Following a struggle, the 30-year-old man was left with serious injuries.

Man Due In Court Over Clonmel Death
A 28-year-old man is due to appear before a special sitting of Clonmel District Court, charged in connection with the death of a 45-year-old man whose body was found in a house in the town at the weekend. The man's body was found in an upstairs bedroom of a house in the Carrigeen estate shortly after 2:30am on Sunday.
