CFAI Calls For Immediate Resolution To CF Patients Waiting For A Room

The Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland has said five CF patients waiting for a room at St Vincent's Hospital in Dublin.

An agreement was signed in July with the group that a number of rroms would be kept free for CF patients when the new wing of the hospital opened in August.

However, the Association is claiming the agreement is not being adhered to.

The Chief Executive of the CFAI said the patients waiting to be admitted are getting anxious.

According to Mr Watt, up to seven patients have been waiting for a room over the past week.

The CFAI is calling for this issue to be resolved immediately as it believes it will get worse over the winter months.
