Man Killed In Tipperary Shooting
A man has been murdered in a gun attack at a house in Co Tipperary.
The attack happened around 06.45 on Wednesday morning when a gunman, and at least one other man, called to a house in the village of Golden.
The victim, believed to be in his 30s, answered a call to the door and the gunman opened fire.
The attackers then fled, though it is currently unknown whether they escaped the area on foot or were taken away in a waiting car.
The alarm was raised immediately and while the victim was attended to at the scene he was pronounced dead a short time later.
A postmortem examination will be conducted at Tipperary General Hospital on Wednesday afternoon.

Appeal Issued For Missing Tipperary Man
Gardaí have appealed for help in tracing missing Tipperary man John Esmonde. The 38-year-old has been missing since around 22:00 on Wednesday 11 March. When last seen he was wearing a dark jacket, blue denim trousers and a black woollen hat. He is believed to have been carrying a brown shopping bag.

Man Injured In Dublin Attack
A man has been injured in a serious attack in Dublin. It happened in Kearn's Place at around 2am this morning. The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was slashed across the face. He is currently at St James's Hospital, where his injuries are being described as "superficial".

Man Charged With The Murder Of Bobby Ryan
A 49-year-old man is due to appear before Tipperary District Court charged in connection with the murder of Bobby Ryan. Father-of-two Bobby Ryan of Boherlahan, Cashel, Co Tipperary was reported missing to Tipperary Town Gardaí on 3 June 2011. His remains were found concealed in an underground concrete tank on a farm at Fawnagowan, on 30 April 2013.

Speaking at the opening event, the Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Shane McEntee, highlighted the important role that Agricultural shows can play within Irish communities.
