Gardaí Call For Help In Identifying Beach Body
Gardaí in Galway have asked Interpol for help in identifying a body of a man washed ashore on a south Connemara beach late last week.
The body was found at Tra Dhireain Huston in Lettermullen last Thursday afternoon. It was taken to University Hospital Galway for the postmortem.
Initial investigations suggest that the body may have been in the water for a number of days.
The man is described as being 6ft 2in tall and of medium to strong build.
Members of the public have been asked to assist, and any information which may help inquiries may be given in confidence to Salthill Garda station at 091-514720 or to any Garda station.

Body Found In Co Donegal
Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.

Investigation Launched Into Galway Body Find
Gardaí have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man's body in an apartment in Galway City. It is understood that the man's body was found by his flatmate on Monday. According to reports, the dead man is believed to be a 23-year-old from Tullamore in Co Offaly who was studying in Galway City.

Gardaí are appealing for help tracing the whereabouts of a teenager missing from Dublin. Colin Doyle, aged 16, was last seen in Balinteer at around 7pm on Monday 09 September. He is described as being 5'4" in height, of medium build with short brown hair.

Garda Co Kerry have appealed for help identifying the body of a woman found in a holiday home in Kenmare some two weeks ago. It is understood that a passport was found in the holiday home, but the body of the woman found dead bore little or no resemblance to the photograph of the document.
