Man Injured In Ballyfermot Pub Shooting
A 32-year-old man is being treated in hospital following a shooting incident outside the Ruby Finnegans pub in Ballyfermot.
The man was sitting in his car when an unknown male approached and fired a number of shots. The victim was able to drive himself to Cloverhill Prison where he received helped.
He was taken to Tallaght General Hospital, his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
It is understood the gunman made his escape in a silver saloon car, which was found a short time later burnt out at Golden Bridge Terrase, Inchicore. A gun was also recovered at the scene.
Both cars are now undergoing technical and forensic examination.
Gardai are asking anyone who was in the Sarsfield Road area of Ballyfermot or in the Golden Bridge Terrace area to contact them on 01 666 7200.

Man Dies In Limerick Collision
A man has died in a crash in Co Limerick. The car veered off the road and hit a ditch at Dromsallagh at around 4.15am on Sunday, 05 June. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man is currently being treated for his injuries at the University Hospital Limerick. The road has been re-opened.

According to Gardaí, a gang of men attacked the victim, who is from the Ballyfermot area, on the grounds behind the Cherry Orchard Hospital around 10.00pm. The attackers shot the man in the lower body, before making their getaway in two cars.

Gardaí are appealing to witnesses of a fatal road accident in Galway on Tuesday night. A 60-year-old man died after his car hit a wall in the Liosban Industrial Estate at about 22:00. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. The victim was pronounced dead at University College Hospital Galway.

Concern is growing over the safety of a Dublin man who has been missing since last Wednesday. Gardai at Ballyfermot Garda Station are seeking the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of 38-year-old Sean Donohoe, who is missing from his home at Sarsfield Road, Ballyfermot, Dublin 10 since the March 3.
