Residents Removed After Suspect Device Found
A number of residents from Dublin city centre had to be evacuated from their homes after a suspicious device was found.
At around 11.40pm last night gardai were alerted of car windows being smashed on Forbes Lane.
The device was found inside the car, and an army bomb disposal team was called.
The device has been removed for technical examinations.
Residents were able to return to their homes at around 3.30am.

Residents Evacuated After Viable Device Found In Dublin
Residents had to be evacuated from their homes in Dublin after a suspected viable device was found. The suspect device was discovered in Blanchardstown at around 8pm on Saturday. Army Bomb Disposal experts made the device safe at the scene. Residents have returned to their homes and the scene was declared safe at 9pm.

Suspicious Device Found At Dublin Pub
Bomb disposal experts were tasked to a Dublin pub on Sunday morning, after being alerted to the finding of a suspicious device. Experts examined the device found outside the north Dublin Jolly Toper premises, concealed in a package located in a vehicle in the car park on Church Street, Finglas at around 8.30am.

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating the discovery of a nail bomb underneath a car in the city last night. A number of homes were evacuated while army bomb disposal experts examined the device found in the Broombridge Road area of the Dublin distrct of Cabra at around 11pm.

Border Pipe Bomb Made Safe
An explosive device - believed to be a pipe bomb - has been found in the border town of Strabane, Co Tyrone. It was discovered near Strabane police station and is thought to have been thrown at the building, the North's police have said.
