22 Year Old Dies After House Party Assault
Gardai are appealing for information after a 22-year-old man died after being assaulted at a St Patrick’s Day party in Co Cavan.
A number of people attended a house party in the Rose Hill estate in the Cavan village of Mullagh on Sunday where it is alleged a dispute broke out and the man, who has yet to be named, received serious injuries.
The man was from the village and was rushed to Cavan General Hospital being transferred to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin, where he died early this morning.
Gardai have interviewed people who were at the party but are now appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.

Man Dies In Co Cavan Lake
A man has died after he got into difficulties while swimming in a lake in Co Cavan. He had been swimming with friends at Knocknagarton lake at approximately 10pm on Monday. His body was recovered and was taken to Cavan General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The body of a 22-year-old man who was reported missing has been found during a search operation in Derryhassan, Ballyconnell, on Saturday. Donal Greene was last seen in Derryhassan at approximately 05:00 on the morning of Saturday 28 February 2015.

Investigation Launched Into Woman's Death In Cavan
Gardai have launched an investigation after the body of a woman was found in a house in Cavan. It is understood that the body of the woman, believed to be in her forties, was discovered in a house just before midnight on Saturday. The body was taken to Cavan General Hospital and the state pathologist was notified.

Man Dies In Limerick Collision
A man has died in a crash in Co Limerick. The car veered off the road and hit a ditch at Dromsallagh at around 4.15am on Sunday, 05 June. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man is currently being treated for his injuries at the University Hospital Limerick. The road has been re-opened.
