Five Arrested In Dublin Search Operation
Five men have been arrested after Gardaí from the Garda National Drugs Unit carried out a series of searches at dwelling houses and businesses in the Dublin area.
The operation began this morning and has involved in excess of 20 searches. The men arrested range from their mid 20s to mid 30s.
The planned searches are part of an ongoing organised crime activity, including drug trafficking, firearms offences and money laundering.
The operation is currently ongoing.

Major Search Operation Ongoing For Missing Jet-Skier
A major search operation is ongoing on Lough Ree in the Midlands after a woman went missing while jet-sking. The operation was launched on Sunday evening after a woman failed to return to shore at the lake, which borders Westmeath and Longford. Irish Coast Guard Helicopter, RNLI crews, civil defence and sub-aqua clubs are involved in the operation.

Cannabis Seized In Tarelton, Co Cork
Gardaí in Co Cork have seized cannabis worth an estimated €500,000 during a search of a house in Tarelton, near Macroom. A man has been arrested in connection with the seizure. Garda said the latest find is part of an ongoing operation targeting drugs in the area. Three people have been arrested to date.

'Operation Stratus' Sees €40k Drugs Seized In Drogheda
Gardaí in Drogheda have recovered a haul of drugs worth €40,000 as part of 'Operation Stratus'. One individual has been arrested after the search at a house in the Hill View area of the town on Sunday 12 May. Officers recovered cocaine with an estimated street value of €20k along with cannabis herb that has been valued at €22k, pending analysis.

Two men have been arrested in connection with a massive drugs haul in Dublin following a stop and search. Gardai seized over 100 kilograms of what is believed to be cannabis resin and arrested the two men aged 24 and 31, following an operation on the M1 Motorway near Swords, Dublin 10, yesterday evening.
