Appeal Over Armed Robbery At Shopping Centre
An appeal has been launched after the robbery of a shopping centre in Dublin on Thursday.
The armed robbery took place in Donaghmeade Shopping Centre on a Cash in Transit van.
The robbery occurred at approx 10.15am as the Cash in Transit employees were delivering cash to an ATM at the Shopping Centre. Two men, who were believed to be in possession of a firearm, approached the van's employees.
The culprits who wore balaclavas left the scene with an undisclosed amount of money in a black 07 C 4x4 and went in the direction of Clare Hall, Coolock.
Gardai in Coolock said they are investigating the incident.
Witnesses or anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in or around the Shopping Centre prior to the robbery is asked to contact the Gardai in Coolock on 01 6664200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Three Charged Over Cash-In-Transit Robbery
Two more people have been charged in connection with a cash-in-transit van in Dublin on Monday, Gardaí have confirmed. On Monday, three men fled a shopping centre in Raheny Village with a cash box. The cash box was later recovered by Gardaí and the men were arrested.

An armed cash-in-transit robbery has been stopped by an off-duty garda officer in Ratoath, Co Meath. According to reports a man armed with what appeared to be a gun approached a security guard collecting as he collected cash at a shopping centre in Ratoath.

Men Raid Post Office In Tallaght
Gardai are searching for two men following a post office raid in Tallaght. The men, who were believed to be armed, entered into the building at The Square Shopping Centre at around 10am this morning. They threatened staff and made off with a sum of money.

Two separate taxi protest are underway in the Irish capital, with traffic chaos expected to hit major routes in and around Dublin. Thousands of union and non-union drivers are taking part in the demonstrations, one of which will last fours hours, having commenced at 7am. The SITPU protest is taking place Dublin Airport.
