Belfast Man Left Shaken By Burglars

PSNI detectives in west Belfast are appealing for information after a report of a burglary at residential premises in the Ross Road area on Friday, 19th August.

They said that, shortly before 11.05pm, it was reported that a group of unknown masked men entered a house in the area and made off with a sum of money.

It is believed that two men were in the house at the time of the incident, but although uninjured, was left badly shaken.

The Northern detectives are keen to speak to the driver or anyone who saw a black Saab 93 in the area at the time of the incident.

Two Arrested In Connection With Cannabis Found In Taxi

Gardaí have confirmed that the drugs were found when they stopped and searched a taxi in the Carrigaline area, uncovering 25 kilos of cannabis resin. A follow-up search of a house uncovered cannabis plants, worth an estimated €5,000.

Shots Fired At House In L'Derry
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a report that shots were fired at a house in L'Derry in the early hours of Tuesday, 10 January. Making the appeal, Detective Sergeant Watkin said: "It was reported just before 12.20am that two loud bangs had been heard outside an address in the Melmore Gardens area.

Three Arrested And Heroin Seized In Co Dublin
Heroin with an estimated street value of €650,000 has been seized and three men arrested by gardaí in Co Dublin. Gardaí have said that following an intelligence-led operation three men, aged in their 30s, were stopped and searched on Crumlin Road, Dublin 12 on Wednesday at around 18:30. The men were subsequently arrested.

Arrests Over Deadly Dublin Feud
Two men have been arrested after a spate of gun and pipe-bomb attacks in Dublin that led to the death of a known gang member. The two men are in custody and a firearm and ammunition have been recovered following the shooting incident at Lealand Avenue at about 2am on Saturday morning.
