Fatal Accident Claims Donegal Man In Australia
A Donegal man has been fatally wounded in a construction accident in Western Australia.
On Saturday, Sean McBride, 28, from Burtonport was working on scaffolding, based on a jetty in the town of Dampier when it collapsed into the sea.
The jetty was owned by the mining giant Rio Tinto Iron Ore.
Emergency services were called to the scene.
Police divers later recovered Mr McBride's body from the area.
The Irish Department of Foreign Affairs have been assisting Mr McBride's family.

Taxi Driver Charged After Death Of Irishman
A taxi driver in connection with a fatal incident in Perth has been charged after an Irishman was killed. Ryan Doyle, 25, from Leitrim, was found lying on a road in the suburb of Belmont in the early hours of yesterday morning. Mr Doyle died from his injuries in hospital.

Missing Cork Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The Irish music industry has "lost a legend", Fianna Fáil Spokesperson on Arts and TD for Cavan-Monaghan Niamh Smyth has said following the announcement of the death of Big Tom McBride. Deputy Smyth, said: "I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Big Tom this morning. He was an Irish music legend and a true gentleman.
