McCanns In Dublin As New Inquiry Gets Underway

The parents of missing Madeleine McCann, are in Dublin today to mark the publication of their book 'Madeleine'.

The visit comes after the UK Home Office announced that the Metropolitan Police Service will be bringing their expertise to the case regarding the search for their missing daughter.

Kate and Gerry McCann appealled to British Prime Minister David Cameron to revive the search for their daughter.

In 2007, Madeleine, aged 3 at the time, vanished during a family trip to Portugal.

Man Released In Relation To Killorglin Murder Investigation
A man arrested in relation to the murders of Jolanta Lubiene and her eight-year-old daughter Enrika in Killorglin, Co Kerry, has been released without charge. The two bodies were discovered in a house in Langford Downs Estate on 16th June. Garda are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Man Arrested For Double Murder Is Released
A man in his 40s, arrested in connection with the murder of Jolanta Lubiene, 27, and her eight-year-old daughter Enrika in Killorglin, Co Kerry, has been released without charge. The two bodies were discovered in a house in Langford Downs Estate on 16 June. A file will now be prepared for the information of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Search Continues For Missing Irish Girl in Spain
The search is continuing for missing Irish teenager Amy Fitzpatrick in Spain, The 15-year-old has not been seen since she left a friend's house around 10pm on New Year's Eve to return home in the hills around the town of Calahonda, where she has lived for a number of years with her mother Audrey, stepfather Dave Mahon and 17-year-old brother Dean.

Call For Assistance To Families On Missing
Ireland's law reform body has called for the plan to see the families of missing people to receive financial help with paying their bills. The Law Reform Commission (LRC) on Monday published its Consultation Paper on Civil Law Aspects of Missing Persons making 18 detailed provisional recommendations for reform of the law.

Missing Mother And Daughter Found 'Safe And Well'
A mother missing with her one-week-old baby daughter has been found "safe and well", garda have reported. Garda had issued appeals for help in tracing 23-year-old Paige Holland and her daughter, Nevaeh Goodier/Tighe, after they had been reported missing from their home in Co Tipperary.
