Drugs Worth €720,000 Seized By Garda

As a result of a joint investigation between the Garda National Drugs Unit and Revenue’s Customs Officers at Dublin Port, approximately 60kgs of Herbal Cannabis was seized on Friday.

The drugs have an estimated street value of €720,000.

With support from the Store Street Drugs Unit, the search took place at a business premises in Drumcondra, Dublin 9.

Two English nationals, aged 35 and 37, were arrested and are currently detained at Store Street Garda Station.

In a statement released this morning, Gardai said they had seized the drugs and arrested the two males following an intelligence lead operation in Dublin yesterday.

Two Arrested Following Finglas Drug Find
A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with a heroin seizure in Dublin on Monday. Officers from Garda Drugs Unit carried out a planned search at a house in Ratoath Drive, Finglas, Dublin 11. During the search heroin worth an estimated street value of €40,000 was seized.

80 Arrested In Dublin Drug Operation
Some 80 arrests have been made in the past 48 hours in a mass drug operation in Dublin. Detectives from the Garda National Drugs Unit working closely with local Garda units from the greater Dublin area searched over 100 premises in the past 48 hours and arrested 80 people suspected of involvement in the sale and supply of Heroin and Cocaine.

€200k Of Cannabis Seized In Dublin
A search of a Dublin address yesterday evening led to the arrest of a man and recovered a cache of cannabis worth nearly €200,000. According to Gardaí this morning, the find is part of an on-going investigation carried out by members of the Crime Task Force attached to the Bridewell Garda Station in Dublin.

Three Arrested In Airport Drug Probe
Two South African women and a Portuguese male have been arrested after a drug haul worth half a million Euro was seized at Dublin Airport. The arrests came following a large scale operation by the Santry Drugs Unit and the Revenue's Customs Service.
