Two Charged Over Cross-Border Drugs Seizure
Two men arrested in relation to a cross-border drugs operation have been charged.
They will appear before Dublin District Court at the CCJ, Pargate Street, at 10.30am today.
Drugs with an estimated street value of €420,000 was seized as part of an ongoing cross-border operation.
The men arrested, aged 26 and 29, were both detained in Finglas.
A large amount of cannabis was uncovered in one of three cars searched by Garda in the Finglas area of north Dublin. North of the border, the PSNI also impounded another car.
Two other men remain in custody at Ballymun Garda Station.
Around 70kg (154lb) of cannabis resin found in the operation has been sent for forensic tests.

Gardaí have arrested a total of 15 people in Co Cork as part of a major anti-drug operation. Dubbed "Operation Reuben", Cork City Divisional Drugs Unit moved in and arrested 15 people within 48 hours following "a lengthy drugs operation". Of those arrested, 11, of which two are female, have been charged.

A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with a heroin seizure in Dublin on Monday. Officers from Garda Drugs Unit carried out a planned search at a house in Ratoath Drive, Finglas, Dublin 11. During the search heroin worth an estimated street value of €40,000 was seized.
