Dublin Drugs Bust Successful
Cocaine has been seized today as part of an ongoing operation targeting organised criminality in Dublin.
Gardaí recovered the drugs with an estimated street value of €400,000 when members from the Organised Crime Unit, supported by the Garda National Drugs Unit and local units attached to Pearse St Garda Station stopped a car at Cornmarket Place, Dublin 2 at approximately 12.45pm today.
During the course of the search cocaine with an estimated street value of €400,000 was seized.
One man, 42, has been arrested and is currently detained at Pearse St Garda Station under Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking Act) 1996.
In a follow up search, drug paraphernalia was recovered at a lock –up facility nearby.

Two Arrested Following Finglas Drug Find

Belfast City Council has outlined traffic and travel arrangements ahead of this Sunday's St Patrick's Day event in Belfast. A number of traffic diversions will be in place in and around Belfast city centre. Visitors and participants are advised to plan their journey in advance and leave extra time to travel to and from the city centre.

Man Arrested Over Cannabis, Cocaine And Ecstasy Seizure
A 38-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a drug seizure made during a planned serach operation at a premises in Newbridge, Co Kildare. Gardaí from the Kildare District Drugs Unit uncovered cannabis herb, plants and resin, cocaine and ecstasy tablets with a combined estimated street value of €75,000.

80 Arrested In Dublin Drug Operation
Some 80 arrests have been made in the past 48 hours in a mass drug operation in Dublin. Detectives from the Garda National Drugs Unit working closely with local Garda units from the greater Dublin area searched over 100 premises in the past 48 hours and arrested 80 people suspected of involvement in the sale and supply of Heroin and Cocaine.
