Two Held Over Co Louth Death

Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of Errol Dunne in the seaside town of Clogherhead in March.

Gardaí said this morning they had arrested two men in connection with the man's death following a serious assault in the County Louth town.

The men, aged 35 and 27, were arrested in Castleblaney, Co Monaghan early this morning.

They are being detained at Drogheda Garda station under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

Mr Dunne (25), a father-of-one, died after suffering a severe head injury during a row involving up to 20 people near the Harbour Bar in Clogherhead.
