Man Arrested After Bungled ATM Robbery
A 23-year-old man has been arrested failing in his attempt to rob an ATM in Dublin. The incident occurred at around 3.30am this morning when three men, armed with a sledge hammer, broke into a shop on East Road in Dublin 1.
They attempted to remove the cash machine, but failed.
Gardaí were called and arrested a suspect at the rear of the shop and two of the men fled the scene.
The suspect is being held at Store Street Garda station under section four of the Criminal Justice Act.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Find
Drugs with an estimated street value of €170,000 have been seized by gardai during a raid on a property in west Dublin. Cocaine and cannabis was found during the raid at a house in Balgaddy. A gun and ammunition were also discovered. A 37-year=old has been arrested and is being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station.

Men Arrested Over Santry Cannabis Seizure
Cannabis worth an estimated €150,000 has been seized from a home in Larchill, Santry in Dublin, on Saturday. Gardaí arrested four men in connection with the find. They are due to appear in court on Monday.

Men Arrested Over €1m Cocaine And Heroin Find
Heroin and cocaine, with an estimated street value of €1m, has been recovered in a house search in Ballyfermot on Tuesday. Gardaí arrested two men, aged in their 30s, at the scene after officers uncovered 13kgs of cocaine worth an estimated €900,000 and 1.5kgs of heroin, with an estimated value of €225,000.
