Appeal Launched Over Missing Men

Two separate appeals have been launched following the disappearance of two men in recent weeks.

Gardai at Gorey said today they wish to renew their appeal for assistance from the public in relation to tracing the whereabouts of 26-year-old Seamus Flahive missing from Gorey since March 2.

Gardaí said Mr Flahives family are greatly concerned for his safety.

Mr. Flahive’s blue Nissan Almera car was located on the day of his disappeatance in New Ross. Anyone with information is asked to contact Gorey Garda Station on 053-9430690, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Gardaí in Blanchardstown are also renewing their appeal for the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of 17-year-old Daniel McAnaspie, who has been missing since Thursday February 25.

Thanking the public for their assistance to date, Superintendent Dave Dowling said: "Following our last appeal, we now have some further information on when Daniel was last seen which will greatly assist us.

"I want to thank the community for their help and I appeal to anyone else who has information about Daniel's whereabouts to contact us.

"When a young person is missing, family and friends grow concerned and we in An Garda Síochána want to help alleviate that concern with the community's assistance."

Daniel is described as 5'7" and slim build. He has short brown hair and was last seen at 3.30am on February 26 in Whitestown Avenue, Blanchardstown wearing a navy tracksuit bottoms, navy jacket and white runners.

Garda Issue Appeal For Missing Teenager
An appeal has been issued for missing 16-year-old Mark Tworney. The teenager was last spotted in the Clondalkin area of Dublin last Thursday. He is described as 5'6", with blue eyes and brown hair, and is said to have been wearing grey tracksuit bottoms with a zip-up top and a white t-shirt when last seen.

Appeal Launched For Missing Giirl
An appeal has been launched after a teenage girl went missing from her home in County Monaghan. Gardai at Castleblaney Garda Station said they are "very concerned" for Sandra Shultz's safety and currently trying to trace the whereabouts of the 15-year-old.

Garda Issue Fresh Appeal For Information On Murder Of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe
Gardaí have issued a fresh appeal for information over its investigation into the murder of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe on the fifth anniversary of his death. Detective Donohoe was fatally shot during an armed robbery on 25 January, 2013.

Missing Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 24-year-old man has been found "safe and well". Alex Sherwin had been reported missing on Sunday, with garda issuing a public appeal for assistance. No information on Mr Sherwin's whereabouts have been released, but garda said the investigation had now ended. They thanked the public for their help.
