Limerick Stabbing Investigated
Gardaí are investigating a stabbing incident in Limerick city in which a man was injured.
The incident happened around midnight in O'Malley Park in the Southill area.
The man was taken to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital Dooradoyle.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The city has seen more than its fair share of violent incidents.
Only yesterday, two men were arrested in connection with an unconnected shooting incident.
A 26-year-old man received a number of pellet wound injuries when he was shot at in his car at the railway line in Limerick's Ahane area.
Yesterday he was in hospital, where it was understood his injuries were not serious and he is being treated at the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick.

Man Dies In Limerick Collision
A man has died in a crash in Co Limerick. The car veered off the road and hit a ditch at Dromsallagh at around 4.15am on Sunday, 05 June. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man is currently being treated for his injuries at the University Hospital Limerick. The road has been re-opened.

Man Dies In Tipperary Collision
A man, aged in his 70s, has died in a collision in Tipperary. He was killed after the car he was driving collided with another car in Borrisokane on Sunday, 05 June, at around 5.15pm. The woman in the other car sustained serious injuries and is currently being treated at Limerick University Hospital.

Gardai have launched an investigation following a suspicious fire at a house in Rhode, Co. Offaly on Monday. The incident occurred between 11.30pm on Sunday and 1.50am on Monday. A 24-year-old man sustained serious injuries and has been transferred to St James Hospital where his condition is described as critical.

Body Confirmed As Missing Galway Man
Gardaí have confirmed they have found the body of missing Galway man Adrian Folan. Mr Folan had been missing since last Thursday, when he was last seen in Athlone. Gardaí say that a body found in a disused quarry near the village of Liscannor in north Clare is that of Mr Folan, and that the death is being treated as suspicious.

A second man in only three days has been shot in the North Dublin area of Finglas. Gardai in the area have launched an investigation into the second shooting incident this week, which occurred outside a house at Kippure Park, Finglas at approximately 11.20pm last night. During the incident a 41-year-old man received gunshot injuries.
