Man Questioned Over Woman's Body Find
A man is being questioned by gardaí, following the discovery of a woman's body in Dublin's north inner city.
The woman, aged in her mid-40s, was attacked in a house on Shelmalier Road in East Wall in the city.
She was pronounced dead at the Mater Hospital at around 6.30am this morning.
Her body has been removed to the city morgue and the State Pathologist's office has been informed.
Gardaí said a man is helping them with their enquiries but said no arrests were made.
The end-terrace house has been sealed off for forensic examination.

Gardaí have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man's body in an apartment in Galway City. It is understood that the man's body was found by his flatmate on Monday. According to reports, the dead man is believed to be a 23-year-old from Tullamore in Co Offaly who was studying in Galway City.

Body Found In Co Donegal
Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.

The body of a woman has been found in a house in Carlow. Gardaí say that the body of a 37-year-old woman was discovered at a house in the Craigcullen area of Carlow at about 21:45 on Sunday. The body remains at the scene to allow for a forensic examination. The identity of the woman has not yet been released.

A man has been jailed for life for killing Irish woman Siobhan Kelly who lay dead in her London flat undiscovered for three weeks after he beat her to death. Stephen Foad, 42, denied murdering Miss Kelly, but three days into the trial he changed his plea. He was given a minimum term of 13 years.

Body Found On Balcony In Waterford City
Garda in Waterford are appealing for information following the discovery of a body at an apartment in the city this morning at around 08:15am. It is understood that the body was found on the balcony of a flat on Canada Square. The scene has been sealed and an investigation is underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the death.
