Kilo Of Heroin Seized In Dublin
A man in his 20s has been arrested after Gardaí discovered over a kilo of heroin in his car.
Gardai seized the stash of class A drug and arrested the man in his 20's following an operation at St Laurence's Road, Ballyfermot, Dublin, yesterday. The operation was carried out by the Garda Organised Crime Unit.
A Gardaí spokesman said: "At approximately 8.00pm a car was stopped on St Laurence’s Road. A search of the vehicle uncovered a package, which on analysis at the Forensic Science Lab at Garda Headquarters contained approximately one kilogram of heroin with a street value of €200,000."
The arrested man is detained at Ballyfermot Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act. He may be detained for up to seven days.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Find
Drugs with an estimated street value of €170,000 have been seized by gardai during a raid on a property in west Dublin. Cocaine and cannabis was found during the raid at a house in Balgaddy. A gun and ammunition were also discovered. A 37-year=old has been arrested and is being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station.

Three Questioned In Latest Drug Find
Three men are being questioned after gardai seized heroin worth approximately €100,000 euro in Cork yesterday. Officers discovered the 0.5kg of heroin at a house in Brooklodge, Glanmuire, at around 16.45. The men, who are in their 20's, were taken to Cobh Garda Station yesterday evening for questioning.
