Man Arrested In Child Porn International Operation
A man has been arrested in Dublin following an international operation into Internet child pornography.
Gardai at Balbriggan, working with the Police Service of Northern Ireland, other UK Police Forces and Law Enforcement in the United States, arrested a 47-year-old man on Saturday evening in the north County Dublin area.
According to Gardaí, officers from the Garda Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Unit and the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation were also involved.
The man was being detained at Balbriggan Garda Station and will appear before a sitting of Swords District Court at 10.30am this morning in connection with the investigation.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Find
Drugs with an estimated street value of €170,000 have been seized by gardai during a raid on a property in west Dublin. Cocaine and cannabis was found during the raid at a house in Balgaddy. A gun and ammunition were also discovered. A 37-year=old has been arrested and is being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station.

Gardaí are appealing for help in tracing missing Dublin man Greg Ward. Mr Ward, 31, was last seen in Blanchardstown on Sunday 3 May. He is described as being 6'2" in height and has a vast amount of tattoos and piercings over his body. Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Murder Investigation Launched After Fatal Shooting In Dublin
An investigation has been launched after a man was shot dead in Balbriggan, Co Dublin on Thursday morning. Gardaí say that a man aged in his 30s was shot dead while he sat in his car on Clonard Street just after 9am yesterday. A woman who was also in the suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and is said to be in a stable condition in hospital.

Cannabis with an estimated value of €400,000 has been seized in Co Donegal. Members of the Revenue and Gardaí uncovered the drugs during a search at Castlefin on Tuesday. Garda arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the find.
