Body Of Woman Found Hidden Behind Garden Wall
The body of an Eastern European woman has been found outside a house near Inverin.
Gardaí have launched a murder inquiry into the find in Co Galway and a man has been arrested.
The body of the woman was found in the early hours of Monday morning behind a wall in the back garden of the house on a quiet rural road in Inverin, about two miles off the main Connemara coast road.
It is understood the woman, from Eastern Europe, was in her early twenties and had been living in the house for almost a year.
A man also in his 20's was arrested in the Inverin area and has since had his period of detention extended.
The body remains at the scene while the State Pathologist is expected to investigate.

Investigation Launched After Body Found In Carlow
The body of a woman has been found in a house in Carlow. Gardaí say that the body of a 37-year-old woman was discovered at a house in the Craigcullen area of Carlow at about 21:45 on Sunday. The body remains at the scene to allow for a forensic examination. The identity of the woman has not yet been released.

Tests May Show Park Body Is Romanian
DNA tests are to be carried out after lines of inquiry have suggested the woman found stabbed to death in the Phoenix Park last week was a Romanian national. After a series of high profile appeals to the public, Gardaí have been given reason to believe the unidentified woman may be a Romanian woman who was living in Dublin for some time.

An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a woman's body at a house in Co Wexford. The discovery was made at about 7.30pm on Tuesday, 16 August, at a house at Cluain Dara, Clonard, in Wexford Town. It is understood the body is of a woman aged in her 50s.
