Body Discovered in Search For Missing Diver
Rescue teams searching for the body of a diver who went missing off the coast of Mayo have recovered a body.
The man, who is in his early 20s and from France, disappeared while diving with a friend in the Old Head area near Westport last night.
A body has now been found at the same spot where the man went missing.
The second man was able to swim ashore and raise the alarm at around 8pm on Wednesday evening.
Westport Coast Guard and the Irish Coast Guard Helicopter along with the Achill RNLI Lifeboat were involved in the search.
All search and rescue units are standing down as a result of the discovery.

Body Found In Search For Missing Fisherman
Rescuers searching for a fisherman missing off the coast of Cork have recovered a body. A search operation was launched at first light today (Tuesday) after the fisherman failed to return from a trip on Monday night. The search in an area south of Schull involved local rescue boats, the LÉ Orla, and a Coast Guard helicopter.

Body Recovered By RNLI Off Cork Coast
The body of a man in his 60s has been recovered from the sea early this morning off west Cork following a major search co-ordinated by the Irish Coast Guard. The body was recovered by Castletownbere lifeboat at around 1.30am off Cod's Head between Allihies and Eyries on the Beara Peninsula.
