Bomb Factory Discovered In Donegal

Three men have been arrested following the discovery of bomb making equipment in Donegal.

Garda located several devices and bomb making materials in a wooded area of Rahpoe and arrested three men from Strabane in Co Tyrone. Two are being held in Letterkenny garda station, and one in Milford garda station.

The men are being questioned in relation to membership of an illegal organisation, being in possession of a firearm, and the shooting of Andrew Burns who was killed in February in a paramilitary style attack.

Garda have been given a further 24 hours to question the men before they have to press charges.

A man has been charged with arson in connection with a petrol bomb attack on Killarney Garda Station, the Irish Times have reported. At a special sitting of the Killorglin District Court, the unidentified man was granted bail on strict conditions, and will appear again on Thursday at Tralee District Court.

Two Arrested Following Supermarket Raid
Two men have been arrested following a raid at a supermarket in the Clarehall area in Dublin last night. At around 10.30pm, two men armed with a knife entered the premises on the Malahide Road and threatened two members of staff, before tying them up and attacking them. The pair then left the scene with a sum of cash.

Over €2m Worth Of Drugs Seized In Dublin
More than €2 million worth of drugs have been seized by Gardaí in Donaghmede, Dublin. Cannabis resin, cannabis herb and cocaine, worth and estimated €2.1 million were seized as part of an operation targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in North Dublin.

Two Women Arrested In Connection With Cow's Lane Death
Two women have been arrested in connection with the death of a man on Cow's Lane, Dublin on Thursday, 10 September. A man in his 20s died following a violent disorder incident last week. The two women, both aged in their early 20s, are the latest to be arrested as part of the investigation.
