Dublin Stabbing Victim 'Serious'

A 27 year-old-man is in hospital today after being seriously injured in a stabbing in south Dublin last night.

The victim was attacked at around 7pm at Lissadel Green, Drimnagh. He was taken to St James's hospital where his condition is described as stable.

According to Gardai the incident followed a dispute with the victim's assailant, a spokesperson said: "It was not a random attack".

Gardai are appealing for anyone with information about the stabbing to come forward.

Man Injured In Dublin Stabbing
Gardai are appealing for information after an 18-year-old man was stabbed in Dublin last night. He was attacked on St Mary's Road in Crumlin at around 7.30pm. The victim underwent surgery at Saint James hospital and his injuries are believed to be serious but not life threatening.

Man Seriously Injured In Dublin Stabbing Attack
An 18-year-old has been arrested in connection with a stabbing attack in Dublin on Sunday. The male victim, aged 25, sustained stab wounds in the Templeview Avenue area at around 1.10am. The attack happened in what Gardai described as a "public order incident". The man is believed to be in a serious condition at Beaumont Hospital.

One man has died and a female is recovering in hospital after a double stabbing incident in Drogheda yesterday. The 32-year-old man who was stabbed in Drogheda yesterday passed away in the early hours of this morning in St. Vincents Hospital, Dublin.

Northern Stabbing 'Attempted Murder'
The overnight stabbing of a teenager in north Belfast is being treated as attempted murder by the North's police. The victim, a 19-year-old, is in a stable condition in the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast after being attacked in Cliftonville Avenue at about 10pm last night.

Stabbing Victim Found Hidden In Wardrobe Wrapped In Plastic
A man is expected to be charged at Dublin District Court this morning with the murder of Christopher Jackson. The man was questioned over the weekend following the discovery of Mr Jacksons body on Saturday afternoon. The 53-year-old victim was stabbed 70 times before being wrapped in plastic and a duvet.
