Man In Court Over Walkinstown Death

A man has appeared in court today, charged with the murder of a man in Walkinstown in Dublin last week.

Warren Graham, 27, from Shancastle Lawn in Clondalkin, has been charged with the murder of Paul Keegan.

Mr Keegan, a 42-year-old father-of-two, was found suffering from serious stab wounds in a laneway off Beechfield Road in Walkinstown on December 10.

He died shortly afterwards in hospital.

At Dublin District Court on Thursday, Mr Graham was remanded in custody to appear before Clover Hill District Court tomorrow.

Dublin Man Jailed For Hit and Run
A Dublin man has been jailed for seven years after killing a 20-year-old English student in a hit-and-run three years ago. Eric Doyle of Whitechurch Avenue, Ballyboden, in County Dublin, was already banned from driving for four years when he knocked down and killed Lilly Hastings-Bass on the Rathgar Road on the 26th of November 2006.

Man Due In Court Over Clonmel Death
A 28-year-old man is due to appear before a special sitting of Clonmel District Court, charged in connection with the death of a 45-year-old man whose body was found in a house in the town at the weekend. The man's body was found in an upstairs bedroom of a house in the Carrigeen estate shortly after 2:30am on Sunday.

Fianna Fáil TD Charlie O’Connor, who is a member of the South Dublin County Joint Policing Committee, has welcomed the activation of a CCTV scheme in Tallaght, yesterday. Tallaght is the largest town in county Dublin outside the capital city centre.

Brian Rattigan To Be Sentenced For Prison Drug Dealing
Convicted criminal gang leader Brian Rattigan is due to be sentenced in the Special Criminal Court on charges of dealing drugs from his prison cell. The 32-year-old, from Cooley Road, Walkinstown in Dublin, is currently serving life in prison for committing murder.

Gardaí Appeal For Missing Man Greg Ward
Gardaí are appealing for help in tracing missing Dublin man Greg Ward. Mr Ward, 31, was last seen in Blanchardstown on Sunday 3 May. He is described as being 6'2" in height and has a vast amount of tattoos and piercings over his body. Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
