Man In Court Over Thurles Murder

A 33-year-old man has appeared in court charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of Latvian man Renars Tuleiko in Thurles earlier this year.

Kevin Keohane, of no fixed abode, appeared before Limerick District Court on Monday charged with the murder of Mr Tuleiko between April 13 and 15 this year. He was remanded in custody to reappear in court on December 20.

Mr Tuleiko was found stabbed to death in a field in Thurles, Co. Tipperary last April.

Last month, 32-year-old Victoria Moverley, of no fixed abode, appeared in court charged with assaulting Mr Tuleiko, causing harm.

According to reports, the woman (35) has been arrested and charged following an extensive investigation into the child's death. Santina was found critically injured at a flat on the Boreenmanna Road in the city on 5th July.

Man Charged With West Cork Arson Attacks
A man has been charged with a series of arson attacks in Skibbereen, west Cork. 30-year-old Sean Byrne, of Bohernabreegha, Drimoleague, appeared at Clonakilty District Court accused of six separate arson attacks at a number of locations in Skibbereen.

Eamon Carroll's troubled property group Zoe is to go back to the High Court today to find out if it will be allowed a fourth bid to gain court protection. Mr Justice Frank Clarke last week again rejected an application from the heavily indebted group for the appointment of an examiner to seven of the Zoe companies.
