Dublin House Shooting Victim Recovering

A 27-year-old man has been injured in a shooting at a house in Dublin.

The incident happened at a house on Monksfield Lawn in Clondalkin in the west of the city, around 5.30pm on Tuesday.

A number of shots were fired through the front window of the house, injuring the victim who was in the downstairs front room.

The man is believed to have been hit at least once during the shooting and was taken to Tallaght Hospital for treatment where he is recovering. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The scene of the shooting has been preserved and an investigation has been launched.

No one has yet been arrested in connection with the murder bid.

Man Injured In Shooting Incident
A man has been injured in a shooting incident in Letterkenny, Co Donegal. It is believed two armed masked men entered at house at Legnatraw and shot a 39-year-old man at around 10.30pm last night. The victim was taken to Letterkenny General hospital where his condition is described as not life threatening.

Teenager And Young Child Injured In Alleged Shooting In West Dublin
An investigation has been launched into an alleged shooting incident in West Dublin. According to reports, a teenager and a young child have been injured in an incident that gardaí have said is "ongoing" in the Parlickstown area of Blanchardstown. Three Die In Separate House Fires
Two men and a woman have died in three separate house fires in Limerick and Kerry. In the latest incident, a man in his 60s died following a house fire in Tralee in Co Kerry. The fire broke out in the terraced house in Connolly Park at about 9.30pm yesterday. Gardaí were called to the scene at around 9.
