Two Held Over Cannabis And Ecstasy Seizure
Two men have been arrested following the seizure of large quantities of cannabis and ecstasy in Co. Dublin on Monday.
Ten kilos of cannabis resin was discovered in a car, which was stopped at City Park in Saggart in a planned Garda operation on Monday afternoon. The driver of the car was arrested.
A second man, aged in his twenties, was later arrested when subsequent searches at two apartments revealed an undisclosed amount of cannabis and ecstasy.
Both men are being held at Tallaght Garda station.
Gardaí said that the drugs discovered could have an estimated street value of as much as €1.8 million.

Cannabis worth an estimated €150,000 has been seized from a home in Larchill, Santry in Dublin, on Saturday. Gardaí arrested four men in connection with the find. They are due to appear in court on Monday.

Drugs Seized In Galway City
Quantities of cocaine, ecstasy tablets, MDMA powder and herbal cannabis worth an estimated €35,000 have been seized in Galway City. The drugs were seized in a joint operation with the Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, at a house last Thursday.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Find
A man, aged in his 60s, has been arrested following a drugs seizure at a home in Celbridge, Kildare. A planned search was carried out at a property in Crodaun Forest Park in Celbridge, where gardaí discovered cannabis plants with an estimated street value of up to €62,000. The man was arrested at the scene.
