Body Found In Galway City

The body of a young woman has been found on waste ground in Galway city.

The body was found between Lakeshore Drive and Ceannt Railway Station around 9:30am on Tuesday morning.

It is believed that the woman was in her twenties.

The scene has been sealed off for technical examination and that State Pathologist has been informed.

Body Found In Co Donegal
Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.

Investigation Launched Into Galway Body Find
Gardaí have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man's body in an apartment in Galway City. It is understood that the man's body was found by his flatmate on Monday. According to reports, the dead man is believed to be a 23-year-old from Tullamore in Co Offaly who was studying in Galway City.

Body Found In Mayo
An arrest has been made after the body of a woman was found in Mayo. Gardai at Castlebar, Co Mayo are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a 61-year-old woman in a house at Blackfort, Newport Road Castlebar at approximately 4am in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Investigation Launched After Body Found In Carlow
The body of a woman has been found in a house in Carlow. Gardaí say that the body of a 37-year-old woman was discovered at a house in the Craigcullen area of Carlow at about 21:45 on Sunday. The body remains at the scene to allow for a forensic examination. The identity of the woman has not yet been released.
