Ballymun Shooting - One Man Injured
A 37-year-old man is being treated in hospital after being shot in the chest in Ballymun in north Dublin on Monday night.
The man was shot with a handgun in Carton Terrace around 9:30pm on Monday.
He was taken to the Mater Hospital for treatment. It is understood that his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
According to reports, the injured man is believed to have been one of two men standing outside a house when they were approached by a third man who fired the gun at them.
Gardaí are investigating whether a black Audi, which was found at Dubber Cross in St Margarets shortly after the shooting, was involved in the incident.
An attempt had been made to set fire to the vehicle.
The scene where the car was discovered and the area where the shooting took place have been preserved and are being forensically examined.

Man Injured In Dublin Pub Shooting

A man is in a stable condition in hospital after being wounded in a shooting incident in Co Donegal. The incident happened in the Milford area. The man, believed to be in his twenties, was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital for treatment.

Gardaí in Cork have arrested three men in connection with a shooting in the city on Monday night. According to gardaí a man aged in his 20s was shot a number of times by a man on a motorbike. The victim is being treated at Mercy University Hospital. Gardí have appealed for witnesses to the shooting, or any one with any information, to contact them.

Woman's Body Found At House In Co Meath
Gardaí in Co Meath have discovered the body of a woman at a house in Longwood. According to gardaí they discovered the woman's body at around 17:00 on Monday at a house in Edgeworth Court. An injured man, believed to be aged in his 30s, was also found at the scene and is being treated at Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar.

Man For Court Over Wicklow Killing
A 23-year-old man will appear before Arklow District Court this morning in relation to the shooting dead last month of French national Charles Sinanapayen in Bray, Co Wicklow. Mr Sinanapayen, 32, was shot in the head on May 29th last at the apartment he shared with his partner in Richmond Hill, Fassaroe.
