Two Die In Road Accidents
A 21-year-old man has died following a road collision in Co Wexford this morning.
He was a passenger in a van that crashed at Ballydoyle, Ballycogley, Kilmore Quay at around 9.40am.
A statement released by Garda said: "One man was arrested and processed at Wexford Garda station under drink driving legislation. He has since been released."
Elsewhere, a 54-year-old man has died following a road accident in Co Waterford last night.
The man was driving a tractor at Mellary Hill, Mount Mellary, Coppoquin, at 10pm when the vehicle went out control and crashed. He was taken to hospital but died in the early hours this morning.
Gardai have also named the man who died in yesterday's crash on the N8 between Portlaoise and Abbeyleix as 27-year-old Dhanesh Muthermadathil Sadasivan of Crumlin Road, Dublin 12.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses of a fatal road accident in Co Kerry. A 24-year-old man died when the car he was driving hit a wall on the N69 Tralee-Listowel Road in Glenballyma in Tralee. The accident happened at about 21:45 on Saturday. A post-mortem is due to be carried out today.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to two fatal road accidents on Saturday. A 62-year-old man died when the car he was a passenger in left the road on the M50 at about 12:45am between Junction 10 Ballymount and Junction 11 Tallaght. The 60-year-old female driver is in a critical condition in Tallaght Hospital.

A man has died following a collision in Ballinsloe, Co Galway. The crash occurred just after 10.30pm on Tuesday at Clookeenkerrill. It is understood the man was killed after the vehicle crashed into a tree. A post-mortem examination is to be carried out. The road remains closed and diversions are in place.

A 69-year-old man died in hospital following the collision on the Inner Relief Road in Dundalk at about 17:00, garda have reported. It is understood the man was driving a car that was involved in a collision with a bus.

The 49-year-old was driving a vintage motorcycle at Kilballyowen, just outside Bruff, before 5.30pm yesterday (Sunday) when the incident happened. It is understood he was travelling along a rural road when he crashed into a wall on a bend. He died at the scene.
