Elderly Woman Dies In Wexford House Fire

An elderly woman has died in a house fire in Co Wexford.

The alarm was raised early this morning, Tuesday 10 December, after a blaze broke out at a house in Davidstown, between Enniscorthy and New Ross.

The woman, aged in her 80s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man in his 40s was taken to Wexford General Hospital for treatment to injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.

Gardaí have located the body of 30-year-old Karl O'Toole. He has been missing from Enniscorthy, County Wexford since 23 May 2015. Garda confrimed that his body has been located. No further action is being taken.

An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a woman's body at a house in Co Wexford. The discovery was made at about 7.30pm on Tuesday, 16 August, at a house at Cluain Dara, Clonard, in Wexford Town. It is understood the body is of a woman aged in her 50s.

Gardaí Search For Missing Wexford Woman
Gardaí at New Ross are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a missing Wexford woman. Bridget Reddy has been missing from her home in New Ross since the 27th March 2011. She is aged in her mid-sixties and is described as being between 5’7” and 5’8” in height, of slim build, red hair and wearing glasses.

Woman Dies & Three Injured In Wexford Crash
A woman has died and three other people injured following a crash in County Wexford. The two-vehicle collision happened at Kilnamanagh in Oulart at around 1.30pm on Tuesday. The woman, aged in her 50s, was taken to Wexford General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Woman Killed And Man Seriously Injured In Co Wexford Road Crash
A woman has died in a two-car collision on the R741 between Gorey and Wexford. Gardaí have said that woman, aged in her 20s, died in the crash at around 10am on Thursday morning at Raheenaskeagh, north of the junction for Oulart village. The single male occupant of the second is being treated for serious injuries at Wexford Regional Hospital.
