FAI Emails Affected In External Hack
The Football Association of Ireland's Abbotstown headquarters were the target of an external hack last weekend, affecting the organisation's email services.
Reassurance has been issued to customers that no breach of payment details took place during the hack. This data is instead stored off site.
An Garda Siochana and the Data Protection Commission have been informed of the breach.
Forensic computer scientists are on site and work is continuing to restore a full service for staff.

Allied Irish Bank officials are said to be examining the find, which is believed to include loan applications and customer statements.
