US Software Firm Creates 200 New Jobs In Dublin

A US software development company is set to create 200 jobs in Dublin.

LogMeIn, is a remote software firm that originates in the Middle East. It currently employs 176 people and is set to create a further 200 roles in customer service, sales, marketing, legal, Human Resources and technology.

As demand increases, the company has expanded to a global customer base and plans to open a new office in Grand Canal Dock.

It comes amid the firm's plans to increase its workforce globally by 1,000 over the next three to five years.

Motorway Services Firm Creates 360 New Jobs
Three hundred and sixty new full time jobs are to be created by motorway services Applegreen, with the opening of six new stations. Neueda Technologies is to establish a software engineering hub and it will undertake software development services for global telecommunications and financial services clients at their new offices on the Dublin Road. More than 70 people have already been hired by Neueda.

Amazon Creates 300 New Dublin Jobs
Three hundred new jobs are to be created by Amazon at its Dublin offices, the online retailer has announced. The jobs will be created over the next two year across a range of positions, including software engineers, technical engineers, technical managers, customer support and IT security.

Dublin Software Firm Creates 50 New Jobs
Fifty new jobs have been announced by computer software firm Citrix in Dublin. The new position, which will bring the company's total employees in Ireland to 265, are to be in sales, IT shared services and technical support. A recruitment day is to be held for the jobs on 18 October, the company has said.

Software Firm Creates Jobs On Border
A south Down-based company it is to create almost 360 jobs in the border city of Newry. First Derivatives has told the London Stock Exchange the posts will be filled over the next three years and will bring the total workforce at the company to 900.
