Department Of Health Evacuated In 'White Powder' Incident

An incident is ongoing in Dublin after the officers of the Department of Health were evacuated.

It is understood that an envelope containing an unknown white powder was sent to the building.

The building was evacuated and garda and Dublin Fire Brigade are at the scene. According to reports, up to eight fire brigade vehicles have surrounded the building. A hazmat support unit is also at the scene.

Apartment Complex Fire Investigated
An investigation has been launched into the cause of a fire at an apartment complex in Dublin city on Wednesday afternoon. The apartments in Love Lane, Dublin 2, were evacuated when firefighters were called just after 14:30 yesterday.
